- Egyáltalán nem, sőt, nagyon sok pozitív visszajelzést kaptam a szurkolóktól, de még mielőtt bárki egyfajta politikai üzenetet vélne ebben felfedezni, azt meg kell cáfolnom. Egyszerűen arról van szó, hogy ez a vállalkozásunknak az emblémája is, feltüntetve rajta az elnevezésünket. Egyébként pedig ha nem is verem nagydobra, de büszke vagyok a magyarságomra, s úgy gondolom, ezt azért nem kell szégyellnem. Ezért viszont kell egy kis idő, három-négy év, mire a fiatalok beépíthetők lesznek a felnőtt keretbe. Ezért szándékozunk most szerződtetni nem helyi kötődésű, de magyar játékosokat, míg külföldit csak korlátozott számban.

- Ezzel kapcsolatban máris több név kering a világhálón, így válogatott játékosokról, Borbásról, Mörtelről, és a régi debreceni kedvencről, Szűcs Gabiról is hallani.

- Ami az első kettőt illeti, nem jár messze az igazságtól, de ezt csak akkor vehetjük majd kész ténynek, amikor aláírják a szerződésüket. Reményeink szerint erre még ezen a héten sor kerül. Ami Gabit illeti, ezt viszont megcáfolom, mert olyan jövedelmet, mint amit a jelenlegi klubjánál, a Vâlceánál biztosítanak neki, azt mi nem tudjuk, de nem is akarjuk kifizetni. Most készítjük el a következő szezon költségvetését, ami nem titok: 150-160 millió forintból gazdálkodunk majd. Arra törekszünk, hogy a játékosok időben megkapják a jövedelmüket. Rend és fegyelem, ez a vezérelvünk, de követelni is fogunk. Mi nem ígérgetünk, annyit fizetünk, amennyire képesek vagyunk, hiszen az anyagi biztonság a megfelelő háttér ahhoz, hogy a következő szezonban is elérjük a célunkat, a dobogós helyezést. Nagyon remélem, hogy a céljainkat minden területen sikerül megvalósítanunk.

- Az edzők személye szóba került, lesz változás?

- Nem, hiszen Bakó Botond vezetőedzővel és Medgyessy Sándor edzővel már megállapodtunk abban, hogy újabb egy évre, vagyis a következő szezonban is ők lesznek a szakmai munka felelősei.
